What is the Political Courage Test?

Presidential Election 2012 Political Courage Test

Pro-choice Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
Initiating an Article V Constitutional Convention to pass a Democracy Amendment that would empower the majority of citizens to approve all legislation, executive orders and judicial decisions that impact the majority. It will then be possible to end bribery by lobbyists, which will then allow a rapid transition from oil, coal and other fossil and nuclear fuels to a Solar Hydrogen Economy whereby pollution-free hydrogen will be made from water with electricity made from wind and other solar technologies. This reindustrialization effort will create millions of jobs that will generate trillions of dollars each year for the American people.

Americans now spend approximately $2 trillion annually for fossil and nuclear fuels, and since manufacturing hydrogen fuel from water has been in the public domain for nearly 200 years, the $2 trillion would go to the U.S. Treasury and the American people, rather than to foreign countries and multinational corporations that have no responsibility to take care of American citizens. This is similar to the Hoover Dam project, and the 5 million 2 megawatt wind systems that would be needed to displace all fossil and nuclear fuels could be mass-produced in one year once the tooling is in place.
Agriculture should shift from unsustainable and toxic oil-based fertilizers and pesticides to indoor organic "Lifeboat" food production systems in each community that will be able to operate regardless of climate disruptions that are caused by carbon dioxide accumulations or natural catastrophic events like the Yellowstone "supervolcanic" eruption that is now overdue, which will end growing seasons for a decade. Educational excellence for all students will dramatically reduce costs by having the very best instructors and animation teams produce ultra-high quality programs for all major subject areas, which will be provided at no cost to students at every grade level.
Tax rates for high income families during the Eisenhower administration were over 90%, and the U.S. economy was never more prosperous. As a matter of social policy, it is undemocratic for a tiny number of super rich individuals to accumulate vast wealth that allows them to hire armies of lobbyists who bribe elected officials and to influence elections with false advertising and acquiring news organizations and other news and television networks. The existing 16,000 page tax code should be reduced to five or six lines with no deductions, and the tax rates should be approved by the majority of citizens.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Specifically, while I personally support ending the influence of money in political campaigns and elections, once the 26-word Article V Democracy amendment I have written and am advocating is passed in a Constitutional Convention and ratified on-line, as President, I would only have the power to try and influence the majority of citizens of this and the other issues that are covered in this questionaire. With bribery by lobbyists and wealthy individuals made illegal, the Presidency and the U.S. Congress would be run like the U.S. Navy or other armed services where money should have no place in policy decisions.
Yes Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
I would recommend to the majority of citizens that only when a capital crime can be proven beyond any reasonable doubt should capital punishment be approved, and depending on the nature of the crime, the method of capital punishment should vary accordingly. If an individual engages in especially cruel behavior towards other innocent individuals, that person's method of execution should take such cruel actions into account. As the Old Testament prescribed, an eye for an eye should be utilized to help deter such barbaric acts from being committed in the first place.
Yes Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
Yes Do you support spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation?
No Do you support the 2010 temporary extension of unemployment benefits?
No Do you support the 2010 temporary extension of tax relief?
Rather than borrowing hundreds of billions of dollars to pay unemployed individuals not to work, I would recommend that those individuals should be hired to work on a wide range of projects, including roads and other infrastructure maintenance, national defense, border security, environmental protection, health care, or the production and maintenance of Lifeboat food production systems in each and every community. Rather than focusing on an unsustainable policy of economic growth, a stable-state economic system should be enacted based on the production of poison-free energy and food production systems that would end factory farming by treating all animals with respect.
Yes Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
National educational standards that are competitive with other major countries, including Germany, Japan and China should be established by the U.S. Department of Education, rather than the current system whereby thousands of individual school districts determine what students need to learn in each grade level. The federal government should also coordinate and pay for the Educational Excellence program for all students to insure that each and every student shall have access to the highest quality instructors and educational programs at each grade level in every major subject area, which will insure that critical thinking skills are mastered by each student.
Yes Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
Yes Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production?
According to the National Academy of Sciences, the Earth is now in the final stages of being made uninhabitable because of our continued use of toxic oil, coal and other fossil fuels, which are destabilizing the climate and global food production systems. These catastrophic developments have been ignored by both Democratic and Republican administrations and most Members of Congress who choose to believe the industry lobbyists who bribe them, instead of thousands of scientists and engineers from over 45 countries who have been advocating a shift to a Solar Hydrogen Economy for decades with technologies that are pollution-free and inexhaustible.
No Do you support United States' combat operations in Afghanistan?
Yes Do you support a timetable for withdrawal from Afghanistan?
No Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
It is important to note that all of our founding fathers were classified as "terrorists," and that U.S. foreign policy has for decades served the interests of multinational corporations who use our Armed forces to install brutal puppet governments, like the ones in Egypt, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia who allow their countries wealth to be extracted by foreigners while the majority of their citizens live in poverty. American foreign policy should be based on treating others as we would want to be treated, rather than the other Golden Rule which states that he who has the gold makes the rules.
No Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
Any restrictions on guns should be approved by the majority of American citizens.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
No Should individuals be required to purchase health insurance, as mandated in the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
Obamacare serves the interests of insurance companies while doing nothing to reverse the healthcare costs that are bankrupting the USA. What is needed is a non-profit universal healthcare system for all Americans that is similar to the military system where doctors and healthcare facilities are focused on preventive medicine and not operated on commission, which only encourages unnecessary costs, procedures and drugs. An era of molecular regenerative medicine is already eliminating the fundamental causes of aging and disease, which offers a "utopian" future of unlimited lifespans, assuming the ecological "oblivion" scenario from fossil fuels does not make the Earth uninhabitable.
Yes Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
No Do you support allowing illegal immigrants, who were brought to the United States as minors, to pursue citizenship without returning to their country of origin?
Yes Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration law by state and local police?
The USA is now the largest debtor nation in the world, and nowhere does the 14th amendment state that the children of illegal immigrants are entitled to become U.S. citizens. No country in the world allows millions of illegal immigrants to come into their country to vote and have access to free healthcare that is not provided to existing American citizens. Moreover, no one knows how many illegal immigrants are even in the U.S. As such, utility providers in each state should be empowered to determine the citizenship status of their customers to help define the scope of the problem.
Yes Do you support same-sex marriage?
The federal or state governments should have no authority to tell American citizens who they should fall in love with, marry or spend their lives with. It is ironic that the so-called conservative Republicans are the one's who want to insist that the government impose their religious views on others, which is a direct violation of the United States Constitution, which clearly states that the government shall not impose one's subjective religious beliefs on other American citizens.
No Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
Individual retirement accounts typically involve investments in the Stock Market, which has never proven to be anything other than a riverboat gamble. Companies are here today and gone tomorrow and the sad reality is that the only thing private companies are focused on is making money for their management teams, and sometimes the investors, but private companies have never had any responsibility to take care of the millions of individuals that end their lives in poverty, in spite of the optimism they had in their youth. Social Security is only in financial trouble because the irresponsible Congress took the money.
My presidential priorities are to implement an Article V Constitutional Convention to pass a Democracy amendment because that is the only way to end the partisan gridlock and rule in secret by lobbyists, which will then enable a Solar Hydrogen Economy, that will generate trillions of dollars each year to pay for free educational excellence and a universal non-profit healthcare system to be implemented with wartime-speed. This is the only proposal that meets with the specifications of the National Academy of Sciences to phase out the use of all fossil fuels by 2020, which will provide "sustainable prosperity without pollution."
